Wow! God sure showed up in a special way this morning! You could feel His presence as soon as you walked in the door. Teresa spoke on the topic "It'll Be Different Next Time". She compared how Jesus came to earth the first time as a babe in the manger, but he's coming again soon as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Can't you feel the excitement and anticipation of His coming!

Group Home Christmas Party

What a great time we had last night celebrating Christmas with 5 group homes from Rocky Mount and the surrounding area. Our hearts were blessed as we saw the child like innocence as each one sang songs, played games, and visited with Santa. It reminded me of how we must come to Jesus with that same child like faith, putting all else aside, just trusting and believing in Him.

We are also blessed that they have asked us to be their Spiritual Advisors for the homes. We look forward to being apart of this wonderful family!

Katie and I did our annual get up early and hit the stores! We headed out around 3:00 this morning! I don't know how she is able to hold out to work tonight!
Even if I hadn't bought one gift, I treasure the time I spend with my daughter. She has grown into such a lovely young lady, and my good friend! I love you Katie!
We did make a lot of progress on our list today - got some good bargins. Now to put up the decorations.......
Do you think I could talk her into doing the gift wrapping!???

We had a Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
Wednesday night we did our tradition of grilling out with Katina and CT's family. Everyone came over for Steaks with all the trimmings!Thursday for lunch we went to Teresa's parents for the traditional Thanksgiving meal. For the first time in several years, all of the family was together! I am so blessed to be surrounded with the people I love so very much. Thank you Lord for family!

Spring Hope Car Show

What a great time we had at the Spring Hope Pentecostal Annual Car Show! But it was Cold!!!! The sun finally broke through about the time it was ending up and that helped some.
There were lots of cars on display, food, crafts, Bluegrass Gospel and of course good ole' Southern Gospel Music! We were on the back of flat bed truck all dressed in thermal underwear, long sleeves, jackets, and gloves! However, we had a good time praising God through song letting His Word ring out through the community!

Cashie Baptist Revival

We were in Windsor October 19 at Cashie Baptist Church. What a BEAUTIFUL sanctuary! It was neat, after we got there I met another lady named Teresa Davis, she grew up 4 miles from where we stay now, and I work with her sister at Coopers Elementary School! The Preacher holding revival services, Brother Royce Williams is also from Rocky Mount, living right down the road from our home church, Old Wilson Road Church of God!
What coincedences!!!!

TV Program in Goldsboro

What a great night we had on WHFL TV in Goldsboro with Brother Wayne Goff. Brother Wayne has dedicated himself to this program every Saturday night at 9:00 for 11 years in November, 2011. We praise God for his dedication and desire to spread the Good News of Jesus! If you can pick his program up , "Good News", we encourage you to tune in. You will surely be blessed!

WOW! God showed up in such a might way in service this morning! Souls were rededicated to the Lord, people weeping at the alter, and people casting their burdens at the Savior's feet. There is No place like being in HIS presence! We praise God that His blood still flows from Calvary today and that just one drop of His blood still washes the most vilest sinner clean!
When we call on Jesus, ALL things are possible. We can mount on wings of Eagles and fly above our circumstances! I'm so glad my God is in control of everything, and He'll move heaven and earth just to catch me when I fall! What a Savior!

Surf City Singing

What great night of worshipping our Lord at Chapel By the Bay in Surf City last night! This church has a Saturday night Gospel Singing every week from April through October. Praise the Lord for such dedicated people to devote their time on Saturday night to promoting God's Word through song! I know God has a special blessing for each of you. Thank you for your faithfulness! Such a beautiful place, too! I still think I could live year round in the campground there!

Today at lunch many family and friends met at Texas Steakhouse to wish CT a Happy Birthday last Tuesday! What fun! Someone gave him a Curious George coloring book and a Barrell of Monkeys! What perfect gifts for him!!! Hmm -CT and Curious George - what a pair!!!

Services today

We had such awesome services today - this morning at our home church, Old Wilson Road Church of God, the Holy Spirit moved in such a way that Brother Tony didn't even get to preach. God moved in such a miraculous way around the alter. Lives were changed, people were healed, and God's peace wrapped around each of us.

Then tonight, at Spring Hope Pentecostal, Sister Batchelor, brought as "on time" message about being "Sold Out for God". Again, the Holy Spirit moved as the people responded to the alter service. Many people had prayer requests for physical healing and also for love ones. Without a doubt, God responded giving us reassurance that HE is in control of all things! It was such a sweet moving of the Holy Spirit that brought tears to our eyes and Praise in our hearts.
Such a refreshing bath washing over us in each of these services. There is nothing like being in His presence!

There is NO GOD like our Jehovah!

Day of Praise at Gospel Fellowship in Tarboro

What an awesome day! From 12:30 until about 9:20 pm different groups were lifting up the wonderful name of Jesus in song! WOW!!!
Sister Terri and her husband Bruce did such a wonderful job of bringing this event together. Brother Bruce, YOU are the "sound man"!
Great homemade Bar B Que sandwiches and cakes - my kind of day! LOL!!!
We met so many new friends. Looking forward to when our paths will cross again!

Squirrells!!!!!

We have a huge pecan tree in our front yard. This year (and last year) it had LOTS of pecans on it. However, we didn't get any! The suirrels ruined everyone of them! They will look right at you and toss them down half eaten! Any suggestions on how to save the pecans?!

CT's son, Jeremy, has started his chemo treatments this week. Please keep him in your prayers....He lives in Boston and he and his wife are expecting their first child, a son, in January! We are believing and trusting for Jeremy's Complete healing!
